Last Updated: April 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Phone-Check.app collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, use the phone validation dashboard, call our APIs, or contact support.

Information we collect

  • Account information such as name, email address, company name, password credentials, and settings.
  • Billing information such as plan, invoices, payment status, and transaction metadata.
  • Support information such as messages, attachments, contact details, and issue history.
  • API usage information such as request timestamps, endpoints, response status, usage volume, IP address, user agent, and security events.
  • Phone validation data you submit so we can return validation results such as formatting, country, carrier, line type, deliverability, and risk signals.
  • Website data such as pages viewed, referral source, device details, cookies, and analytics events.

How phone validation data is handled

Phone numbers submitted to the API are processed to provide validation results, prevent abuse, troubleshoot service issues, and maintain security. We design the service to avoid keeping customer phone lists as a reusable database. Operational logs, aggregated metrics, billing records, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for the periods needed to operate the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect the platform.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, monitor, and improve the phone validation service.
  • Authenticate users, manage accounts, issue API keys, and process billing.
  • Respond to support requests, security reports, and product questions.
  • Detect fraud, spam, credential abuse, payment abuse, and API misuse.
  • Send product, account, billing, and service communications.
  • Analyze product usage and improve documentation, performance, and reliability.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and regulatory obligations.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential session handling, security, preferences, analytics, and support workflows. You can learn more in our Cookie Policy. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but some account and dashboard features require essential cookies.

Subprocessors and service providers

We use trusted providers to host the service, process payments, send email, provide analytics, protect against bots and abuse, deliver support, and monitor infrastructure. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own terms and privacy commitments.

Selling or sharing personal information

We do not sell customer phone validation data. We also do not use submitted phone numbers to build marketing lists. Where privacy laws define certain analytics or advertising disclosures as "sharing," you may have the right to opt out through browser controls, privacy settings, or by contacting us.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, account management, billing, security, compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention periods vary by data type. Backups and security logs may persist for a limited period before they expire.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain sharing, and limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable. European and UK residents may have additional rights under GDPR-style laws.
